About Me
Hello World! I'm Christian Dezha and am currently trying to pursue a career change to Software Engineering. There are so many paths that interest me in the software world but I thought a good place to start would be as a Full Stack Developer!
I am always eager to continue learning and feel that with tech always advancing and being such a fast-paced industry, especially on the software side, it is a good career change over from previously being a Systems Engineer.
In my free time, my life revolves around being physically active, hanging out with family and eating food!
Fun facts!
- After only running one 5k and three 10ks, I signed up to run my first Ultra Marathon in 2023. (Oh and I only had less than 2 months to train for it).
- I started off in CS in college, eventually switch degrees to Physics to try and purse a more hands-on degree once I got to grad school, and well what do you know...here we are today.
- I got to visit Easter Island in 2020, a week or two before everything in the world shutdown.

+ A web-app that uses Spotify's API to search tracks in Spotify's music library, preview them and create a playlist to upload to a user's account.

Company Homepage w/Flexbox: TRH Films
+ Project that focused on using flexbox to design and build the layout for a company's homepage. The company chosen was for a personal friend. Website design is also responsive to different screen sizes.

Experience
Systems Engineer/Controls Specialist - RoviSys Building Technologies (2019 - 2023)
+ Designed, implemented and configured building automation systems/software using Rockwell Industrial Automation Software (PLCs).
+ Designed and developed electrical control systems that interfaced with facility and building management manufacturing equipment and sensors.
+ Worked solo and in a team environment with engineers and designers from within the company, outside partners and clients both nationally and internationally.
+ Grew into a position, Project Engineer/Manager, of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation & information solutions.
